Promoting Rigor, High Level Thinking

Based on the work of Todd Stanley, this course will help teachers implement questioning strategies that challenge students to think critically by using higher level questions in assignments, assessments, activities, and classroom discussions. Participants will:

• Gain confidence formulating and using higher level questions in the classroom 

• Expand awareness of higher level questions

• Implement higher level questions in the classroom

• Get students excited about learning by using higher level questions
